So, James & Kate got married in the lovely village of Barnwell, Northamptonshire earlier this year. Shooting again alongside the lovely Source Images (www.source-images.co.uk), the day started with bridal prep at the farm belonging to Kate’s parents. Kate’s family were absolutely lovely and we felt very welcomed. I took a wonder around the farm in the morning and stumbled upon Kate’s father preparing two of their hugely impressive shire horses for the big day – lots of grooming and some skilful distraction techniques being deployed!
I then traveled over to James and Kate’s own place to find the boys getting ready – we wondered down to their lovely little (quintessentially English!) local pub where they met up with friends before the ceremony.
After a nervous wait the ceremony took place, and everybody made their way back to the farm where the reception was getting underway. A lovely marquee built around trees in the back garden was the perfect setting for some hilarious and heartfelt speaches which set the scene for an awesome party later one.
Here’s a selection of my images from the day, and as ever would welcome any comments!
