Monkey Island Wedding Photographer \\ Stuart & Marie
Stuart & Marie’s beautiful Monkey Island Wedding was a refreshing celebration that really reminded me what a wedding should be about:
Two People. Dedicating their lives to each other. Celebrating what matters, along with their nearest and dearest. Simple.
When Stuart contacted me back in February this year, there were three words in his email which particularly resonated with me. As he was explaining the plans for their big day he ended the paragraph by writing “All pretty informal”. Not a phrase I read very often in connection with wedding plans and enquiries, but it gave me a refreshing insight into what Stuart & Marie were after from me as their photographer.
I joined Marie for some morning preparations at their beautiful house in Oakley Green, before spending some time with Stuart and the boys at Oakley Court Hotel just down the road.
We were blessed with some lovely sunshine which enabled the outdoor ceremony to go ahead without a hitch, and then it was back to the Greene Oak in Oakley Green for the rest of the celebrations.
I’ll leave you with a selection of my favourites from the day – if you feel that you’d like your special day covered in a similar way, then I’d love to hear from you!
A most beautiful set of wedding photo’s as you are ever likely to see.
You have captured the essence of informality, fun and laughter.
A happy and joyous occasion.
The mix of full colour and b/w pictures gives an unusual contrast, something which is not always appreciated but in this instance, it works to dramatic effect.
The engaging smiles of Stuart and Marie is something for them to treasure all their lives.
Thank you Henry for your kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to document such a lovely day!
Lovely set of images mate!
